My name is Saleh Clemons. I’m a Counselor and Case Worker in the greater New York City area Of the United States. By the grace of Allah, I’ve been fortunate to complete my degree in Psychology and I’m in the midst of completing my master’s in Law/Conflict Resolution. I’ve completed a course of study in Arabic in Egypt for a year, and I have also spent a year studying the sacred sciences of Islam and spirituality from luminaries and scholars in Tarim, Yemen.
In 2017 for approximately one year in order to serve as a consultant to a rural village in the Ngorongoro Conservation area (Tanzania), I applied his religious and secular knowledge in creating a program for personal discovery and development for both Christian and Muslim children and young adults.
I'm currently working for Barrier Free Living, an organization dedicated to victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and trafficking. Experience specific in mental health, trauma, and abuse in families and children.
I’ve begun an initiative in my local communities called Creating Compassion, where we focus on inculcating children, youth, adults, and seniors with practical spirituality that invigorates a greater tangible sense of holistic love in our individual selves, families, and across communities. We accomplish this through both individual work and group discussions, as well as other innovative modalities to reach anybody wherever and however they are.
