Sarah Khan-Bashir MBE is a family lawyer and the founder of a top three-best rated firm, SKB Law. Sarah specialises in a range of family law matters including: divorce (including Islamic divorce), separation, child support, pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements and division of property (to include high-net worth). Sarah advises on the legal implications of religious marriages, specifically Nikaah, and the rights of those who whose religious marriages are not registered/protected. Sarah also provides legal services for Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Sarah is a recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Law and Highly Commended by the Law Society's Excellence Awards. She was awarded an MBE in the 2014 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, recognising her work with Mosaic, a Prince’s Trust educational charity.
