As the big sister to siblings 10-18 years younger than me, I have always had an interest in child development and behavior. My love for my little siblings lead me to pursue my education in early childhood education and on to a lifetime of working with and learning about children. I spent my years between high school and motherhood teaching, coaching, mentoring, and tutoring kids of all ages! Even with all of my experience, I found my early years of motherhood extremely draining. By the time my third child was born, I was spending my days yelling, threatening punishments, and full of guilt. It was around this time that I realized a change needed to be made and so began my personal journey into Peaceful Parenting. I spent 5 years learning and growing while sharing my journey on social media. This exposure lead to me being invited to join a parenting summit to speak about Peaceful Parenting and the muslim family. The experience at the summit helped me to really see the dire need for change in our community and I knew I had the needed experience to ignite change. Immediately, I enrolled to pursue my Peaceful Parenting Instructor certification through the Peaceful Parent Institute and have been offering personalized parenting education since 2020. I am also a founding member of Hearts Minds and Families which offers an annual conference that focuses on the mental health and overall wellbeing of the mother and family. My heart is set on bringing peace to families.
Along with being a Peaceful Parent instructor, I am a homeschooling mother of 3 who knows the struggles of day to day parenthood. I approach educating parents through the eyes of empathy and understanding while maintaining truth and perspective. My top priority is to offer information in a way that opens the heart and mind to a deep understanding of child development and healthy relationships. The goal is to inspire long lasting change with the parent-child relationship at the very center of it all.
I virtually assist parents in dealing with every day parenting struggles. I focus on shifting perspectives, understanding child development, and guiding healthy conversations. I also follow up with resources and real-time situation coaching for a true understanding of implementation and long lasting results. I offer not only insight, but also the tools needed to continue implementing relationship building skills long after our coaching sessions have ended.
