Dr. Bano Murtuja has studied the various Islamic sciences at a basic level with numerous teachers including Habib Umar bin Hafiz, Habib Khadhim as-Saqqaf, Imam Zaid Shakir and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. She has formally completed the Micro Madrassa program of Greensville Trust under the tutelage of Ustada Nagheba Hayal, Shaykh Ibrahim Osi-Efa and Shaykh Haroon Hanif. She is a student of Sirah, and has had the honour of speaking about the Sirah of the Messenger for over 15 years.
